What is $dOOd?
Dood, short for Doodle, is a CommUnity meme token on the XRP Ledger, born from doodles. It ties together Dood art and NFTs, DoodSmooth grooming products, DoodLabs games and DoodGood giving. No roadmap to riches, just a CommUnity that keeps drawing.
How do I know I have the real one?
Check the issuer and currency code. Real $dOOd is issued by rn5Y9N8APtrc7PVqXdMjkG9qvfw7FWi4kC with currency code 446F6F6400000000000000000000000000000000. Other tokens named DOOD on other blockchains are not $dOOd.
What’s a trustline, and does it cost anything?
A trustline gives your wallet permission to hold a token. The XRP Ledger sets aside 0.2 XRP of your balance for each trustline you have. It’s a reserve, not a fee: once your $dOOd balance is zero you can remove the trustline and the XRP frees up.
How do burns work?
When tokens are sent back to the account that issued them, they stop existing. $dOOd’s issuer is blackholed, so burned $dOOd can never be reissued. NFT royalties, product sales and CommUnity members all send $dOOd back to burn it.
Who’s behind $dOOd?
DOOD is a registered LLC with the DOOD™ trademark pending, built in the open with its CommUnity. No disappearing acts, no constant narrative shifts. Verified on First Ledger through consistency and follow-through.
Can more $dOOd ever be created?
No. The issuer’s master key is disabled and its regular key is the blackhole address, so no one can sign a transaction for it again. Supply can only go down.
Is the CommUnity supply locked?
Yes. 60 billion $dOOd from the CommUnity allocation, 6% of the starting supply, is locked with HOTL. It only unlocks if the team requests it, and there are no plans to.
Is there a buy or sell tax?
No. The issuer has no transfer fee, so $dOOd moves wallet to wallet for just the normal network fee. If you trade through the AMM pool, the pool charges its own trading fee (0.377% right now), which goes to liquidity providers, not the team.
How can artists use $dOOd?
However it fits the collection: small rewards for collectors, early mint access, holder perks, burn-to-mint drops, token-gated experiences, raffles and giveaways. You can also buy new art and sell your own on XRPL Home. Your art stays your art.
Is $dOOd an investment?
No. $dOOd is a meme token for fun and CommUnity, with no intrinsic value and no promise of a return. Do your own research: read the project, verify links, and watch how the builders move over time. Never spend money you can’t afford to lose.
Will anyone from $dOOd DM me?
Never first, and never for your secret numbers or seed. No real $dOOd airdrop will ask you to connect to a claim site. Report impersonators in Doodscord or Telegram.
